Thomas is an expert for the UN’s Harmony with Nature Office and is responsible for Participatory Research issues in various research funding programmes. He created the first Participatory Research initiatives in 1992.
He has been Executive Director (CEO) of the Geneva Forum since 2001, organising the Annual International Conferences on key themes such as ‘Rights of Nature’, ‘Sustainable Tourism and Responsible Travel’, ‘Inclusive Education through Project Pedagogy’, ‘Responsible Finance’ and ‘Citizen Science and Participatory Research’, to enable all the players and operators in these fields to exchange, meet and share ideas live at the broadest international level.
He is the author of the book ‘Les Idées du Vivant’ (Biomimétisme des organisations appliquées aux entreprises) published in 2001. A specialist in systems thinking since 2001 and in the Management of Technology since 2007, he is a consultant in Management, Bioinspired Organisation, Business Management, NGO Development, Excellence Techniques and Breakthrough Technology Management.
