The NGO Objectif Sciences International (OSI) (1992) has had ECOSOC Consultative Status with the UN since 2011, and organises Participatory Science activities for everyone, children, teenagers and adults, alone or in groups, all over the world. To enable the NGO to carry out its mission as effectively as possible, including reaching out to as many different people as possible, these actions use all existing opportunities for mobilising citizens, whether in the form of corporate incentives, school trips, solidarity holidays, scientific holidays for children or teenagers or many other formats (language stays, expeditions, training courses, science clubs, etc.).

Objectif Sciences International (OSI) uses Participatory Research to solve concrete problems while contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This approach combines scientific research projects (fundamental, applied, or engineering) with education, engaging citizens of all ages in real-world initiatives.

OSI’s actions, designed in collaboration with the scientific community, are offered in various formats such as school trips, scientific stays, or expeditions, and their results are shared with the relevant communities and researchers.

Based in Geneva, OSI coordinates its Local Groups (France, Switzerland, DRC, etc.) to combine field action with institutional outreach, turning research into a lever for sustainable and collective impact.

Geneva Forum

Launched in 2001, the Geneva Forum is an international platform dedicated to promoting an inclusive and sustainable economy. As a true strategic crossroads, it encourages economic models that reconcile environmental respect with social inclusion. Through a cross-disciplinary approach, it fosters synergies between professional sectors to turn innovative ideas into concrete, high-impact projects.

Its conferences and workshops bring together experts, researchers, and practitioners around various topics such as resilient tourism, the rights of nature, impact finance, and alternative currencies. These exchanges help develop solutions that are innovative, economically viable, and in harmony with nature.
